Limestone:
Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the mineral calcite. Limestone is less resistant than most igneous rocks, but more resistant than most other sedimentary rocks. Limestone is readily available and relatively easy to cut into blocks or more elaborate carving. It is also long-lasting and stands up well to exposure.
Granite :
Granite is an intrusive rock with usually dark colors. Granite rocks are igneous rocks, which were formed by slowly cooling pockets of magma that were trapped beneath the earth's surface. Granite provides a heavy crystalline & granular appearance with mineral grains. Granite is used for long lasting monuments and for trim and decoration on buildings. Igneous rocks are called fire rocks and are formed either underground or aboveground. Underground, they are formed when the melted rock, called magma, deep within the earth becomes trapped in small pockets. Granite tiles are quite literally, as old as the earth, perfect for use in residential and commercial flooring applications. Granite Slabs are ideal for fabricating granite counter tops, flooring, retaining walls and landscaping around a center fountain/pond. The black granite variety or anorthosite contains very little quartz & feldspar & has a different composition than true granite. Fine grained granite is extremely durable & more absorbent than others
